Yes…Im proud to say that I am a Banker. I’ve been in the industry for almost 8 years. I graduated with a course of BSBA major in marketing, huh!…but maybe because it was my destiny to become a banker. As an executive of a bank, I was exposed to different experiences and areas in banking system. I started my career as a credit card authorizer in an affiliated credit card company of a Bank owned by Ayala Group. Thru learning, I was able to identify the operational features of the said bank product. After 2 years, I decided to look for a greener pasture and transferred to another local bank now merged and owned by the Aboitiz Group. I worked there as a remittance processor. Thru experience also, I have identified the cash flows of the money being sent by the Filipino OFW’s to their families here in the Philippines.
.
Now as an operation officer in a foreign bank (a branch of the 2nd largest Japanese Bank), this career move gave me a lot of opportunities to widen my knowledge of the banking system as I was exposed in handling and processing loans, foreign exchange and money market transactions.
.
As I go beyond, continues learning comes thru hardship and dedication. I’m still in the process of learning a lot of things about the banking system. Maybe one of this days, I will decide to broaden my knowledge and pursue another areas I want to explore. Because learning will start from ourselves and thru learning, we will be able to achieve our goals in life.

Di lang naman iisang field ang pwede nating matutunan though yun yung pinag-aralan natin..
Explore. For we can do more.

Well, I am really impressed on the directions that your career is heading, dahil sa iyong sipag at tyaga, and definitely there are more opportunities waiting for you at the top of the corporate ladder.
Nice post.
hi crisiboy, goodluck sa iyong career. more blessings to come. i agree with you...learning starts frm ourselves..^_^happy weekend
AMEN to what you wrote about learning. From a fellow kabayan, I also share the same thoughts. One is never too poor, too hard-up, too young, too old, too intelligent, too wise to learn. The moment we stop learning is the moment we stop living. We can mechanically breathe, but learning is designed by Our Creator not only to keep our hearts beating, our minds active, and our souls singing. HAPPY SUNDAY to you in Japan.
